Zombie Hulk! oh crap.

Is this the worst nightmare you could think of? A Zombie of boundless strength and endless appetite. aim for the head is the default answer but I think I would come up with a plan that involved a giant moat and axle grease.

Barbarians at the Gate

A Torc and a Kilt, is all he needed to go to meet the enemy.
the Torc will help keep his head attached to his neck and the bare chest is a placard for the wode paint he will wear to battle.
Woden is the color of the dead when he fights he considers his life already gone, only to be reclaimed in peace - and every warrior knows the most fearsome fighter is the one with nothing to lose, including their own life.

The Monster, Francis

Frank here is a great copyright free property and I have a few sketches of him to post later.
Hope you enjoy!
The fact that we see pencils, pens, and two colors for highlighter effect must mean this was in a class of some sort. also Points for you if you recognized the wrinkles as Dale Keown rip-offs!

By now I hope you know this stuff is for you to use. I ask that you let me know when and where you use these shots to satisfy my vanity and spread the word - if you are so inclined I can do omissions or other versions of the art you find on this site.

You can of course buy your own "Art Appreciation" via Pay Pal - in return you'll have a a warm sense of humanitarian goodness and my eternal gratitude. (And I'll have one more reason to keep posting here)

Protein and a razor

Now this is a big guy. They say the camera adds 12 pounds, but to your sternomastoid ?

Alien with head plates - not to be understimated

Most Alien life forms don't use their head as a weapon.
there have been plenty of animals that have horns and Antlers for display and ritualistic mating combat but a true offensive weapon that involves the skull? Very few indeed.
The Jah'wi have this trait. An articulated set of plates beginning just above the nostril flares and ending just before the thoracic vertebrae is the only signal that the Ja'Wi head is a formidable weapon. Originally thought to be decorative or defensive in nature these plates are actually diminutive when compared to the underlying skull and cervical vertebrae structure. Thick muscles around the neck and shoulders can compress the skull and neck by 20-25% and thrust forward at almost 35mph, Neolithic Jah'wi would use this strength to move, lift and build their massive inverted pyramids.
There is no evolutionary evidence to suggest they were anything other than the dominate, sentient Species on their planet. They have strong tradition going back eons of fantastic engineering feats for the resources of each age.

Ready for Valhalla a long time ago

Tired. Old. Stiff.
That how Raknor felt this day.
To be fair, it was a long day that started very early while looking for a very specific blacksmith.
However, Viking life is not about fair, it was about doing the right thing for you honor, clan, and family. Right now, the right thing to do in Raknor's judgment was to chop down one more conniving, lecherous, weasel of a man, the man before him, bracing for a fight... El Sadid

Earlier this morning this would have hardly been a fight, even at his age, Raknor would have cut El Sadid down in two moves. Clearly El Sadid was villain, not a warrior, and certainly not a fool. He had surrounded himself with men to protect him. The eight men Raknor cut down this morning in his quest for El Sadid began were those men. They failed to live through protecting their employer. They probably fancied themselves warriors, and if El Sadid thought they were it was understandable. They wore bright shinny and heavy breastplates, thick and woolly furs and their swords were the kind made with the sophistication that tended to fearsome appearances and razor sharp edges. However, appearance and a well-honed edge purchased from fine craftsmen are not where warriors come from. These men where merely well appointed thugs. They might have even been more surprised than El Sadid was when they realized the old and angry man brought them their last day.

One of them did leave their mark though. It didn't help save his life and Raknor did not check to see if it would eventually take his... he has one more matter to tend to and no more time to waste.

(Sharpie over pencil... that must have been a very long meeting...)

Walker with missile pods

Walker with Missile Pods
Hans crawled up into his police issue (but very old) Walker for the hundredth time.
Sighing for the hundredth time as his knee banged into the hip hub-joint for the hundredth time. And for the hundredth time he might have started to question his life choices. There was no time for idle thoughts, the pre-locomation checklist for this rig was massive, it was all original from the Crate Wars and also included over 50 addendums and customization cross checks from the add-ons over the years.
Like the missile Pods...
Honestly! Who thinks to put explosive rocket ordinance less that 100cm away from your pilot's head?

It's funny to think this thing went from a machine of war 50 years ago to a police recon and special team tool and back to a war machine in it's twilight years.
"Just like me.", thought Hans and he strapped on the only helmet he ever owned.
